Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can: your wallet address, your X account, and your email only if you give it to us. You can see it, change it or delete it whenever you want.
The short version
- We never sell your data, and we don't use it for ads.
- Email is optional, used only for HUMN NEWS transmissions you opted into, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To delete your account and everything linked to it, send a DM to @HumnNews on X from the X account linked to your profile, writing "delete my account". We do it within 30 days and confirm.
1. Who we are
HUMN NEWS ("HUMN", "we", "us") runs humn.news and the @HumnNews account on X. For anything about your data, contact us by DM at @HumnNews on X.
2. What we collect

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
3. Our legal basis
- Running the service you asked for: your profile, wallet, X account and game activity.
- Your consent: your email. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest: IP addresses and game records used to prevent cheating and abuse.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They handle data only on our instructions.
- Supabase: our database and backend, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- X: handles the "connect X" sign-in. X's own privacy policy applies to your X account.
- Google Fonts: serves the site's fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google.
- Solana RPC providers: answer the public question "how much $HUMN does this wallet hold".
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards they offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Your profile, wallet, X details and email: until you delete your account or ask us to.
- Your email for transmissions: until you unsubscribe or delete your account.
- Game activity and IP addresses: for as long as needed to run a test and settle its winners, then up to 12 months to handle disputes.
- Winners' handles and payout transactions are published, and blockchain transactions can't be erased by anyone.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, export it, or stop using it. You can withdraw your email consent at any time. Send a DM to @HumnNews from the X account linked to your profile, so we know it's you. We reply within 30 days.
If you're in the EU or UK and unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Age
HUMN NEWS is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we tell you before it applies.
